Music of the Week
  idaidaida II
ida deerz
Dude, Ida Deerz is so cool, like, really really cool, I've been listening to Ida's gay ass music since 2022 and I really love all of her music, at least from the stuff that's on spotify, I haven't properly checked out her soundcloud yet so I can't speak on that. I also had a single interaction with her in her discord server that I feel like I need to show here because funny.

Okay okay, the album, YES TEH ALBUM!!!

The day this released, holy shit I was jumping out of my seat, off the walls through the ceiling and back into my seat because damn it's awesome. This whole album is fast, energetic, loud, gay and cool, okay except for camp hill, PA and 8080 east, those are just gay and cool.
It's hard to describe what the music on this album is, but it's more fun to describe how art makes me feel instead of what it is anyways, so I'll do just that. This songs on this album make me want to constantly move around, and istg this album has some form of spell on it because it feels energizing to just listen to it, I don't drink caffeine so I wouldn't know what a caffeine high feels like, but I imagine this album comes pretty damn close.

Something I also want to say is that this album feels at the same time extremely over the top and fast and energetic and hard hitting, but somehow it doesn't exhaust me in the way that most fur rave or happy hardcore tracks do. Absolutely 0 disrespect to fur rave and happy hardcore tracks/artists, but somehow this album can scratch the same itch almost as good, and cause nowhere near the same amount of mental exhaustion, which I think is cool af.

Some of my favorites from this album are make it make sense!, which I cannot listen to and not shout/playback along to.
over it now!, which I also loudly bop along to because I'm so over so many things, and that's a good thing, also the random t4t line keeps being funny even after 38 listens
And my last track of choice is changes, because I absolutely love the instrumentals and the lyrics and the vocals on this track, basically the entire track, ofc i love everything about the entire album, but this track just does smth to me. Also partially why I love this track so much is because I fukkin love songs with multiple like parts? idk what a good term would be, but this track is divided into 4 parts, and I love every single one of them. The lyrics just really speak to me personally, at least me from like years ago, partially, partially me now and partially past me. I mean the whole song is about change, and I've been changing a lot the last few years, ANYWAY BACK TO THE SONG HOLY SHIT. The lyrics in this song are amazing, there's so many good lines, and just the constant like story telling is so good, I actually love this song so much. Of course the instrumentals are amazing too, with part 1 being intstrumentals only, part 2 and 3 being high energy with cool lyrics, and part 4 is so different but so amazing too, and a fucking amazing way to close off the song, like, it just does so much to me, I can't put it into words, and I don't know enough about music production to properly dissect it, but this shit is so good. also the transistion between part 3 and 4 is just very fun.

So yeah, check out Ida's music, it's cool af
