A very fun (in a certain way) and very indie album full of silly songs about less silly things, and it's one of my favourite indie albums.
At times full of honest and vulnerable lyrics, especially More Than Skin Deep, that song is just so... yeah, it's amazing, it's hard to describe how much I "enjoy" the brutal honesty in that song, mixed in with the other songs in this album stands out quite a bit, but in a good way, in such a good way.
And then something completely different, I Forgot Your Name (and I'm very sorry about it) is a silly song about forgetting someone's name. A big chunk of my enjoyment of this song probably comes from it's relatability, but also just how the song is played. It's so fast and jumpy, it's like it emulates the racing thoughts you get after realizing you forgot the name of someone you really like.
Everyone's Left is also so amazing, I don't quite know why it makes me as emotional as it does, but it just hits me in a certain way that's hard to describe. It's great how much this song does with 1 minute of time.
