  ik kom vaker buiten
Tim Koehoorn
Tim Koehoorn is a Dutch indie alt/pop artist that Bowl recommended me a while ago, and is one of the artists I went to see in Den Haag a few days ago with Gleeby and Bowl.

Their songs are just very fun to listen to, the lyrics in basically every song is filled with silly things, it makes the songs extremely memorable and their songs just cheer me up.

My favourites from this Album are probably terug naar huis (going back home), het gaat de slechte kant op met mijn pessimisme (my pessimism has been doing worse) and provincie (province)

I absolutely love songs that tell a story, of course most if not all songs do that. But specifically songs that just verbally tell you a story, using a pretty literal way of storytelling is something I enjoy a lot, and terug naar huis does this soooo well, I absolutely love this song. I can basically see the entire story unfold in my head, and in multiple parts the instrumentals compliment the story so well, especially 1:05 to 3:22 which is them hurrying into a train, accidentally falling asleep, waking up, realising they ended up completely somewhere else, and having to get out of the train when the doors are locked. I swear the story + instrumentals in this whole part are amazing, it captures the emotions they're trying to convey so well, I love it.
