I've been listening to quite a few artists from Awoominati for a while now, Alecs Dyno, Suburban Death March, Bassdog, Chimera Chimera! and Gojii, but I wanted to explore all the other cool artists that are with Awoominati.

I discovered Meikurey through the Awoominati Records artists page, and of course I clicked on the artist with a bird sona becuase yes I am predictable. I recognized a few of her songs vaguely, and realized two of her songs were covered by Alecs Dyno in their album "Cover the Label" which made me even more interested in her music.

I had her discography on shuffle for a few hours, and I noticed I really liked the songs from this album specifically, I really like the way she does her vocals, especially on Pack of Wolves and Hello LA, and the overall feeling I get from most songs of this album is a sort of suspense and mystery, the instrumentals of this album go so extremely hard.


The entire album is amazing from top to bottom in my opinion, but Pack of Wolves is probably my favorite track from the album, right after Windows and Doors and Orange Skies.

Some tracks from the album also remind me of Suburban Death March quite a bit, which is also a very cool artist you should check out. (and I might do a MOTW on sometime)
